Mark is the Practice owner. He qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2002 when he joined the practice. He became a partner in 2007 and owner in 2012. He is interested in all aspects of restorative and minimally invasive dentistry. He places and restores dental implants within the practice.
Craig qualified as a Dental Surgeon from the University of Dundee in 2013, after previously completing a degree in Quantity surveying and working in that field for a number of years. He joined our team in November 2017.
Luke qualified from Queen’s University of Belfast in 2007 with an intercalated degree in Dentistry and Micro-Biology. He worked in Dundee Dental Hospital for a year before joining the Practice in 2008.
(No, it’s not Craig’s wife!) Paula qualified from the University of Dundee in 2011 and worked in Edinburgh and Glasgow for a number of years before joining our team in May 2018. Paula has an interest in working with anxious patients and prosthodontics (dentures).
Jamie qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and has been with the Practice since then. He has a keen interest in all aspects of restorative dentistry.
Claire qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2013 and has worked in the Practice ever since. She is qualified in facial aesthetics and sets time aside each week to do home visits and attend to care home patients.
After graduating with a health and lifestyle degree in 2011 Roxanne turned her focus to dental. Whilst working in the practice and attending classes she qualified with the NEBDN in dental nursing and joined the GDC register in 2012. Recognising her passion for dental nursing she has also completed additional courses in impression taking and dental implant nursing.
Lorraine gained a BA in Learning Difficulties and Disabilities in 2003 and then qualified with a NEBDN certificate in 2011 whilst working at the practice since 2009 and was GDC registered then also.
Vicky qualified as a dental nurse in 2006 and joined our practice in 2008. She has since qualified in British Sign Language and worked in the deaf community throughout that training. She is happy to assist whenever she can in practice.
Christine has been a qualified dental nurse since 1978, where she worked in Edinburgh dental school. She has a wealth of experience in the dental world. She has worked at the practice since 2000.
Gemma started at the practice in 2013 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2015. She has since gone on to complete the Childsmile Programme and is currently studying British Sign Language.
Kirsty joined us in 2014 and went on to qualify as a dental nurse in 2016. She then studied further for the HND in Dental Nursing which she gained in 2018.
Kelsey started at the practice in 2012 and qualified in 2014 with an SQA in Dental Nursing. She then went on to complete the HND in Dental Nursing and just recently completed the very first BSC in Dental Nursing, passing with distinction. Well done! She has also completed a course in dental implant nursing.
Alyson joined us more recently in 2018. She qualified as a dental nurse in 1988 in London and worked there for many years, heading the British Airways staff dental care. She has brought her experience in complex work such as implants, bridgework and practice management.
Laura started working in our practice in 2016. She gained her dental nursing qualification just one year later and became fully GDC registered in 2017.
Samantha joined the practice at the start of 2018. She qualified with a BSc in Oral Health Sciences (with merit) in 2016. She is with us all day on a Tuesday treating all kinds of Hygiene treatments both NHS and Private.
Yvonne joined the practice when there were only 2 surgeries and 1 dentist in 1986, qualifying as a dental nurse with the NEBDSA certificate in 1988. She has worked in the practice ever since and helped it grow. She has watched many of the patients attend as children many years ago, and go on to bring their own children.
She became practice manager in 2009 but has kept up her CPD and GDC registration in order to keep up to date with all current standards and treatments.
