We continue to be open throughout this current lockdown and it is widely accepted that healthcare appointments, including dental, are essential travel.
Update (Please scroll up to see letter from Lanarkshire Health Board)
It was announced by the Health Secretary that from the 2nd November, dentistry in Scotland will move to phase 4 of the route map.....what does this mean?
We will be able to increase the range of treatment options available.
However, in accordance with the wider social distancing rules, we are still restricted in the number of patients we can see in the practice and we have the obligation to prioritise patients in pain or with signs or symptoms of infection.
All appointments must continue be made over the phone 01355 576074 or through the contact button below (this sends an email to the dental practice). The front door is still closed, therefore we cannot have any "walk in" appointments made.
You must wear a face covering when attending the practice
Just confirming when you attend for an appointment, we have measures in place to protect yourself and our staff , hand sanitising at the entrance and we take your temperature on entry. We ask that you attend for your appointment promptly , alone where possible (unless one adult accompanying a child) and to attend on time to avoid unnecessary crowding in the waiting area.
All payments for treatment must be made by card, on the day of treatment
For the foreseeable future, things will be different when you come to the practice but we will endeavour to make these changes as easy and comfortable as possible for patients, and give you plenty of information in advance of your visit.
I think we all realise wider public health measures will be in place for months to come, but rest assured we have all the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and operating procedures to keep you and our staff safe.
We would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all again, you have all been wonderfully sympathetic and understanding during this time and we really appreciate your support and co-operation.
We continue to hope you are all safe and well. We will hopefully see you all soon !
